A SMOOTH DOWNLOAD TECHNIQUE FOR BSNL 500 USERS

STEP 1

Go To Control Panel -->Network Connections












STEP 2

Create a new connection using a new connection wizard












STEP 3

Click On Next













STEP 4

Choose default Connect to the internet













STEP 5

Set up My Connection manually













STEP 6

Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and a password













STEP 7

Type the ISP name as "bsnl". It can be anything else. this will be used later for connection from command prompt.













STEP 8

Enter the username and password as provided by your ISP and click on next.












STEP 9

Click Finish to complete connection.












STEP 10

A connection window will appear ...
You should be able to connect to the internet on connect.













The first 10 steps can be used to configure your network connections for the first time. If you already have a PPPoE connection, you can rename that to "bsnl" as this is the ISP name which would be used while configuring your downloads.

STEP 11

Create a new text document in your desktop.













STEP 12

create the text document as shown...give your ISP username password that was used in step 8..
It should be like
rasdial bsnl sanj abc123
where sanj is the username and abc123 is the password.












STEP 13

File--> Save As--> connect.bat--> save as type all files and save.












STEP 14

Try connecting by double clicking the connect.bat file.













STEP 15

Create a disconnect.bat file in the same way by changing the following text.
rasdial bsnl
to
rasdial bsnl /disconnect













STEP 16

Download AutoPowerOn (click here). Install and use the following Keygen/s to activate... All of them should work..

Most new computers have the auto power on ability. The software will test your computer's ability after first installation. Even if you donot have the auto power on ability, the software is still very useful as it can be used as a scheduler to open/close files and run and end programs programs. Computers with the power on ability will restart in 2 minutes.

After successful installation, it should look like this.

Create a new task

Make this new task look like the snapshot below.Click ok after completion.

Create a new task like the snapshot given below...
Check the open file checkbox and the corresponding rightmost button to select the file connect.bat you created in steps 11,12,13. Click open.

Click Ok as shown below...

After this, there are 2 ways to downloads using torrent and using rapidshare like(one click web-hosting) websites.

STEP 23

Downloading using torrent

Use utorrent.

Before going to sleep, make sure the downloads in utorrent have started before you exit utorrent.

Create a new task similar to Connect To The internet, but instead of choosing connect.bat, browse into the folder where utorrent has been installed(usually in program files). and choose utorrent.exe as the file to opened. The task can also be accompalished using run program. Select the time around 2:05 AM.

STEP 24

Disconnect the internet similar to Connect To The Internet, but instead of choosing connect.bat choose disconnect.bat. Set the time around 7:55 AM.
